but I have found a very nice website that I think a lot of my friends should know about.  I discovered this website thanks to the wonderful Goddessjoy.  It is called Artfire and is a indie artists venue similar (but much better IMHO) to Etsy.

The have an offer going now for $7 a month for life for the first 5000 people who sign up for it. That’s it. $7 per month… no listing fees no nothing. I have one of those $7  a month seller accounts because I am planning on doing something in the near future. It is free to sign up if you just want to buy and theres a free level for sellers also.  I haven’t started my shop yet, but have been speaking with people who have.  The customer service is fast and responsive and very helpful.

The site is still in Beta and they are very open to suggestions and have a good community forum area for doing that. All in all its a great website and venue for all the artists out there!
