Sorry this is a bit late folks, but mom was busy and we only got on the computer just now. I hope you enjoy the blog that I’m going to take you to today.

This week we’ll take a trip too Abby’s Yarns! Abby is an excellent fiber artist and a wonderful blogger. Mom and I enjoy reading her blog every time she updates.  This post she made about a book and her life in Peru and the women fiber artists there just makes mom tear up every time she reads it.  Right now Abby is having her Summer Q&A where you can write in and ask her questions.

Here’s how it works (this week, at least). On Monday, I’m going to name a topic or pose a question or something of that ilk. That’s where you come in. You leave a comment, asking a question relating to the topic of the week, or heck, any question at all, really. Throughout the week, in fits and starts, with bursts here and there, I’ll answer these questions. Sometimes it may be multiple answer posts throughout the week; other times, a big cohesive one on Friday. We’ll see how this goes and how it evolves, and perhaps it’ll be the answer to the fractured summer schedule.

I’m sorry this is so short, but I want you to go read her blog now!

Love and Kisses

Hi! My name is Fiona. I have decided that I’m going to take over this blog on Fridays. I like to read blogs with my mom. (As you can see by this photo)

This was before mom’s laptop died and we could sit in the recliner and leisurely read our favorite blogs. Now we read at the PC, and I still like to read blogs with her. I have decided that I’m going to review a blog every Friday. This may be knitting or craft blogs, but it may not be. I hope that everyone will find them interesting and fun.

So…to start things off, I have a really great blog called Bittersweet. This blog is written by Hannah Kaminsky and mom and I really enjoy her writing and her photography is AMAZING.  She loves to cook and photograph and it really shows in her very thoughtful and insightful posts. She takes very beautiful photographs and I think mom wants to grow up and be a photographer like just like her. (EDIT by KnitSteph: yes…I do!!) Hannah also has written a cookbook. It’s called “My Sweet Vegan”. As you can probably tell by the title, this is a vegan dessert cookbook. Now, being a dog, I’m certainly not vegan and mom isn’t either, but that didn’t stop her from putting the book on her Amazon wish list.

I think you’ll never be disappointed if you add Bittersweet to your blogroll or feed reader. I know there’s always something beautiful to look at and very interesting things to read when we go there.

Please be kind to me as this is my first time writing on a blog. (It’s kind of hard typing with paws too!) I think I’m going to like this though. If you want to let me know of any blogs you’d like us to take a look at, feel free to comment and I’ll try to respond to you.

Oh! Mom wants me to tell you that she’ll have a post up on Sunday. She’s been doing something weird with a hook instead of knitting needles. I’m not sure what that’s all about. She says she’ll have pictures for you.

Until next Friday…
