Hey there! I am not vanished from the face of the earth. School is just mega frustrating lately.
We went to an event this weekend in the Austin area and I competed in the A&S competition. The above photo is my display from the competition. I didn’t win, but I think I placed well. My friend won the competition with her handspun, handknit (on size 00!!) stockings! I have pics coming of the rest of the competition. I’ll post a link here later.
At the event I took two classes. One was Viking Wire Knitting (also called trichinopoly). I had a lot of fun. Here’s the result:
One word. ADDICTIVE!
I also took a class on sprang, but I don’t have any photos from that.
Oh..I have a FO, kind of.
Ladies 14th century knitted hood with liripipe. I used knitpicks telemark yarn for it. I still need to add buttons, thats why its “almost” finished. I want to do another one in linen yarn for summer wear.
