So..I had a birthday last Sunday.  I got lots of goodies

First…

The KnitPicks Options Harmony needles. I got the circular interchangables and the sock knitting set. OHEMGEE! They are so smooth. I love love love them.

Three skeins of KP Gloss in Serengeti.  I also got the Vine Lace Stockings pattern and that’s what I’ll use this for.

Joy and her husband got me a Gift Certificate at The Loopy Ewe

You can see some of what I got with it here, along with the needles and Gloss yarn.

I also got some fiber from Crown Mountain Farms, but I’ve not taken a photo of it. Also ordered, but hasn’t come yet…New lampworking supplies!!

I’ve been working on my sock club sock from The Knitter.

I think they’re turning out very well.  I did mess up at one point, but I didn’t go back and fix it. I love the yarn too. It is really soft and pretty. I don’t know if you can tell in the photo. It reads lime green, but if you look really close its green and yellow.

BTW! The daughter and BikerChick are now on Ravelry. Go say HI!.  Daughter is Geebaloo and BikerChick is…well…BikerChick.

Have a great weekend!

So..I finished the Charade socks a few weeks ago.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! I have yet to wear them, but I will soon you just watch!

I decided to join a swap a while back on Ravelry. It was a one time secret pal type thing. I had a LOT of fun spoiling my pal SpaceCase and she seemed to enjoy her package. I got my package yesterday. It was from AuntyJane on Ravelry. (I don’t think she has a blog)

It came all wrapped up in tissue…

and this is what was in there…

(sorry it’s so blurry..need to retake that one) but..there was yarn (MALABRIGO!!) and chocolate and some nummy smelling soap and tea bags for my eyes and naranja balm and other goodies! I just love it!  I can’t wait to find something to make with the Malabrigo.

I haven’t started another pair of socks yet..but..I cast on for the Over the Knee Socks from Handknit Holidays. I’m also working on a project that I can’t post about (it’s a pressie for someone who reads my blog) and I started a 14th century Knitted Hood out of KnitPicks Telemark wool. I’m plugging along on my Charm Wrap also. Things are going..just going slowly.

I think I’ll warp the loom tomorrow. I want to play with it some more.
