We come spinning out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust - Rumi

I just had to blog about these.

This is the Ravelry colorway in Romney from Spunky Eclectic. It’s LOVELY. I can’t wait to spin it up. The green is “minty-er” than in the photo, I think my flash washed it out.

This is Wild Thing, merino from Crown Mountain Farms Can you say OMG. I want to roll around in it.

I want to try to spin sock yarns…so we’ll see how this goes.

Spinning the sock yarn is the easy part… making yourself USE it is the difficult part… I mean, I’m usually so tied up in my spinning that well, can’t it just be art yarn? I mean, it’ll be PERFECT for socks… but, but but… it looks so purty in the skein!

Yes, what Kae said! But absolutely–you can do sock yarn, you can!

Thanks LaBean. I have a hard time resisting too, the only way I can is when the checkbook is empty. :(

Once I get my wheel working correctly again. ARRGH! It doesn’t want to ply.

I love the Colors of both rovings! I got the sock yarn from Spunky in the Ravelry colorway. A great idea.
I am still working away on my CMF roving, but took a break to spin up the Spunky Club offering for this month. I love having the longer light of summer:) For some reason I am kind of weird about wanting to spin in natural light.
