Re-decorating

Here’s a little teaser of the re-decoration. This is my sewing area. It’s directly across from the area That I’ll be putting my loom.

No..I do NOT have a fabric problem. HEHE. The dresser to the left is full of fabric also.

So far we’ve laid 11 1/2 boxes of tile. My house has an open floor plan and the living room is open to the dining room and that’s open to the kitchen. There was linoleum there and it’s been a royal bitch to get up. J and my step-dad have been on their hands and knees today with hammers and chisels getting that tile up. It’s going to be a pain to do the whole area.

I’m going to head down the hallway pulling up carpet next, because I want it OUT OF HERE.

While we were laying tile and such, my step-dad used my kitchen and made Catfish Court Bouillion. For those of you unfamiliar with cajun speak, it’s pronounced “koo bee yon”. (or something similar) It’s a tomato based fish soup and it’s very YUMMY.

When I have to sit and let my glue set up, I’ve been working on my Charade Socks.

I think they’re turning out nicely.

Hope you’ve all had a nice weekend. I know I have!
