I was perusing my most recent issue of Spin-Off Magazine and reading the article on preparing Yucca fibers when I realized that I recognized the name of the person who wrote it. Estella is a lady I know in the SCA. As I read further, I realized the article called “Imping Julia” was written by Kathryn who is a co-mod with me of the Knitting LiveJournal group and author of the Universal Sock Pattern. Wow…I know famous people. Seriously, the articles are great and everyone should rush out and buy a copy of Spin-Off!!

How funny! I found that magazine by accident this weekend while looking through bead magazines. Looked nifty so I grabbed it…and here you are!
My father in law had a HUGE yucca in his back yard…wish he still lived there.
