Thanks everyone for the compliments on the shawl. I’m very proud of it..amazed even that I  completed something like that. I have it hanging on a bookshelf in my bedroom and I stare at it every time I walk by it.

In lieu of photos (camera batteries are dead) I’ll update on my knitting progress.

Butterfly Wings shawl progress - I’m just about to start chart 4 (which begins with row 103!!) I’m making good progress and haven’t had to frog anything at all. Now…since I’ve said that, watch..I’ll have to frog the whole damn thing.

Stockings progress - I have completed one of the white cotton stockings and started the second one.

Monkey sock progress - one sock completed and I’m 5 repeats into the second one. Moving right along.

Tempting progress - I’m 12 or so inches into the body. This is my “BikerChick’s House Knitting.” I keep it at her house and only knit on it when I’m over there. I think it helps me to keep from getting bored with all that K2P2.

New Project - Bridal Purse from A Gathering of Lace with the leftover yarn from the Flowing River Shawl (an example here)

The kids and I went to the Rodeo recently. I got alot of cute photos of the kids and the animals.

I LOVE this photo..he looks like he’s got dreadlocks!

Watching something pretty intently aren’t they?

  yes…you’re seeing that right. The woman and all those horses are on TOP of the horse trailer. That was a very fun act to watch.

I hope to get some camera batteries soon, and I’ll post progress photos of the above projects, but this week is the last week before finals ..and next week is finals AND…someone special is moving in with me this week. ;)  I may be quiet for a few days.  I’ll be back though.
