Wheee… I used the heel from the Generic Toe-up sock Pattern from WendyKnits. I think it looks pretty good, and it seems to fit ok. It does look a bit more shallow than other short row heels I’ve seen, but I’ll try another version on the next pair I do toe up.
Now I get to use up the rest of this ball of yarn. Back to my knitting!!

Great job! I’m planning to try the toe-up version. I’ve heard it’s easier. Who knows though.

I’m going to bite the bullet and give this a whirl. Please ask the goddess of weaving/yarn/knitting to please keep an eye on me! This could get dangerous..I’m bad enough with two needles, much less four or five of them.
