I completely forgot to post about the Trans Siberian Orchestra show we went to.

OH MY FREAKING GODS! It was amazing. If you make one New Year’s resolution this year, make it that you will go to a Trans Siberian show in 2007. We had 5th row seats. FIFTH ROW!! The whole band was energetic, the lights and lazers (and fire FIRE!!) were awesome and the music rocked (of course). You MUST go. It doesn’t help that a few of the band members were HAWT either. (what’s with my random use of capital letters today?? hm..oh well)

Lets see…xmas was fun. Kids got lots of stuff they don’t need. I’m getting a tensioned lazy kate from the sweetie (It couldn’t be shipped in time..but he told me what he’s getting me).

Liam got to be Sir Liam. He’s fascinated with swords and armor, so he got his own set.

I am sitting here now with huge amounts of henna paste on my head wrapped in layers of plastic wrap and a shower cap. I decided that I wanted to try henna on my hair. This is a before shot from Friday Night. (also..in case you’re interested thats about 2″ below BSL and it measures 27.5″) I’ll post an after shot when I’m done with the henna. It has to sit a LOOOONG time. Something like 4-6 hours is the norm.

There’s no Saturday Sky photo from this past Saturday because it was raining like a biatch and I didn’t want to go outside. However, I do have a photo for you from 12-23-06.

I have been knitting, I just don’t have any photos. I made Cat Bordhi’s Casmere Cowl from some of that teal handspun that I posted before and I’m working on a pair of Dragonscale Gauntlets from the rest to go with it. I am plugging along on the test knit gansey, and last night and today I have been knitting balls. Yes, you read that right, balls. I’m knitting the xmas ornament pattern from HandKnit Holidays. I am using leftover sock yarn and size 2 dpns. I’m having a blast. I need to get some fiberfill and stuff them so I can post photos. They are too fun and a good use of the leftover yarn. I have a feeling a lot of people will be getting balls from me for the holidays next year. *giggle*
