I got a laptop today. We ordered it last week and it was delivered today. Also they came out and hooked up wireless internet too. I’m sitting on my sofa and posting to my blog. How cool is that?
School starts on Thursday (well it starts tomorrow, but I have only Tues/Thurs classes) and I have an 8 am class this semester. *ugh*
I got the laptop for school because I type neater and faster than I write and I’m hoping to take notes with it. I just have to figure out if I can take notes with it in my math class. (It’s a math methods class in the education curriculum).
I have been knitting a bit also as well as spinning on mylovely new baby. I’m working on the test knit sweater, a Shetland Tea Shawl, and Lacy Scallops socks. I dropped a stitch in the socks though and have to rip back a few rows to pick it back up, or use a crochet hook and pull it back up that way. *ugh*
I wish I could be more witty like some other bloggers, but I really have no brain cells for wit at the moment.

I suggest trying to use the crochet hook to get that dropped stitched.
Good luck with your classes and congrats on the new laptop. Perhaps you can report on the mishaps of classes as it relates to knitting?
Don’t feel bad, I don’t have anything witty as others do either.

Yay for a new laptop!
I always use a crochet hook to pick up dropped stitches, so that’d be my suggestion.
