I spun up some of my peace fleece roving and when it was all done I decided to pose it.

Yep..I posed my finished yarn.

First off..I actually finished something…

Funky hat

This is that roving that I dyed with food coloring and then spun and navajo plied. The funkiness of the colors just screamed make me a funky tassel. So I did.

Secondly…today was a spinning and weaving day at Rose Path weaving in Lindale. I uploaded all my photos here, but I’ll share a few here.

Looms

LOOOMSS!!! I so want to take up weaving, but I don’t have the room for a loom.

Willie
This is Willie. He’s an angora goat and he likes to nibble fingers. He came to visit with to twin kids Amos and Andy.

Lookie what I bought!!

I love spinning days!!

I want to thank everyone for their ideas about needle storage. I think that I’ll probably be using the CD case idea. I know I have a few laying around here somewhere so I won’t even have to buy one. I did like the idea of the over the door one and may go looking for that also. (see…home and travel storage - I’m thinking)

I just had to post this so that you can see how twisted my kids are.

This is what happens when your 3 year old combines part of his Halloween costume with part of yours. (I’ll leave it to you to decide which is which)

I need some ideas for storing circular needles that don’t involve sewing. (Not because I can’t, but because I’m lazy)

Ok peoples….any ideas??
