Pretty big update…
Saturday, October 8th, 2005First off..I actually finished something…

This is that roving that I dyed with food coloring and then spun and navajo plied. The funkiness of the colors just screamed make me a funky tassel. So I did.
Secondly…today was a spinning and weaving day at Rose Path weaving in Lindale. I uploaded all my photos here, but I’ll share a few here.

LOOOMSS!!! I so want to take up weaving, but I don’t have the room for a loom.

This is Willie. He’s an angora goat and he likes to nibble fingers. He came to visit with to twin kids Amos and Andy.
Lookie what I bought!!

Lantern Moon basket

Peace Fleece roving

Row counter bracelet made by Michelle (she’s the local Kromski dealer – guess who has a new wheel on layaway
)’
I love spinning days!!
Thanks!!
Monday, October 3rd, 2005I want to thank everyone for their ideas about needle storage. I think that I’ll probably be using the CD case idea. I know I have a few laying around here somewhere so I won’t even have to buy one. I did like the idea of the over the door one and may go looking for that also. (see…home and travel storage – I’m thinking)
I just had to post this so that you can see how twisted my kids are.
This is what happens when your 3 year old combines part of his Halloween costume with part of yours. (I’ll leave it to you to decide which is which)

Ideas needed
Sunday, October 2nd, 2005I need some ideas for storing circular needles that don’t involve sewing. (Not because I can’t, but because I’m lazy)
Ok peoples….any ideas??
