Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

I really like the very last one..about the tail. ;)

Pig Test

(psst…I stole this from Christina – except she posted it on her LJ)

Saturday was spinning day

Monday, June 27th, 2005

A bunch of the ladies in the East Texas area get together every so often and spin, knit, eat and talk. This past Saturday we had it in my town at the only other spinner in town that I know.

Angela
likes the peach cobbler.

Sally, Midge (with Angela and another lady looking on) discuss shuttle tatting.

And I left with a serious case of LOOM LUST (that’s bound to get some interesting searches)

I did a couple of small skeins of yarn..but I don’t have photos of those yet. (Gotta keep you coming back somehow right??? LOL)

Boy socks

Friday, June 24th, 2005

If you make socks for a 7 year old boy that look like this….

You get reawarded with this…..

And then the three year old (who’ve socks you’ve not finished yet) wants to model socks too…

and even though you aren’t finished with his socks yet…you still get this….

Closeup of a Glad

My barrel full of bulbs..

My little bit of lavendar is blooming…

And so is the peppermint (I don’t think it did this last year)

and look what is growing off my needles….

I love getting mail!!

Wednesday, June 15th, 2005

Monday THIS came in the mail from patternworks. There was no note or anything so I sent out an inquiring email to the RAOK list to ask who was the lovely person who sent it. Chrissie emailed me and said that it was her. Thanks bunches Chrissie!! I’ve already got a sock in it and have been using it!!

Then yesterday I got a little package from Mistral soaps. Seems that since I linked to them a few weeks ago they thought it would be nice to thank me for the advertising. They sent me two bars of the soap, vanilla apricot oatmeal and black raspberry. Just so you know..I’ll be buying from them again.

I’m out the door..its grocery shopping day. More later.

psttt…I still have books to get rid of. See the previous post.

Books anyone??

Monday, June 13th, 2005

I cleaned off one of my bookshelves today and I have some books that need good homes. I will send these books to who ever requests them (first come first serve) for the cost of postage (media mail).

If you want any of these books, email me at steph AT knitsteph DOT com and we’ll work a deal. I may have some more books come available at a later date, but this was all my back could handle today.
