Nancy has decreed today to be Show Your Tattoo Day, so here goes.
My most recent tattoo and is as of yet unfinished. She needs color and then background around her. Will be a full backpiece when done.
This doesn’t show in the photo above, but it is just below the fairy.
My very first tattoo, given to me by a friend when I was 18. He had a bottle of india ink and a few sewing needles taped together. OO…so reckless.
I also have 5 ear piercings and have/have had other piercings that I can’t show photos of. Sorry.

The pattern was taken from a bedsheet, then flipped around and filled in with colors based on my first two cats. I got it for myself for my 27th or 28th birthday (can’t recall which).

I love your Celtic knotwork. How many more sessions do you have for your back piece? It looks like it’ll be really impressive when it’s done. Happy knitting!

That fairy tatt is SO gonna rock when it’s finally done! I’ve been wanting new ink but always seem to find something else to do with the cash/time. And I’m not keen about putting tatts where people will never see them so… that severly limits my choices…

Beautiful fairy - that’s going to look really spectacular when it’s complete. I like the celtic knot - that’ smore my speed - black and small! I didn’t know about show your tat day else I would have participated. Oh well, there’s always next year.

Oh Steph, I love your back art! My DH is so anti-tat that I just don’t want to deal with the grief to get one. I have mine in my head instead:) If I live longer I’ll get my weeping willow down my back with the roots growing into my hips. I’ll probably be about 95 when I get this done;)

Love the fairy tattoo. I grew up with tattoo’s all around me, on my dad and every sailor we knew.
I’m allergic to dye and my DH hates tattoo’s, so I guess none for me, ever. Love them tho.
