The Liam and The Topher have the flu and strep throat. *grumbles*

I treated myself a bit today. I have the “my kids are sick I need stuff” attitude.

First off..I’ve ordered This Fiber Yummy!!

Then while we were waiting for the pharmacy to fill the prescription I drove out to the LYS and got an Addi Natura size 9 16″ cirular needle and a Clover size 9 24″ circular needle. I needed these because I cast on for my Pi Shawl last night as soon as my Knitter’s Almanac was delivered by UPS. I cast on with some Blue Sky Alpaca sportweight that I had laying around. OMG! It’s soooo soft. I only have 4 balls though (480 yards) so I’m going to have to see how far I get and possibly order some more. Photos to come as soon as there’s a sun in the sky.

Also at the LYS I bought some Merino Lace in the color #91. More yummy!!
